Nach Richtlinie 2004/49/EG, Anhang III, Abschnitt 2 muss das Sicherheitsmanagementsystem des Eisenbahnverkehrsunternehmens ein Nachweisverfahren enthalten, um sicherzustellen, dass der Inhalt des Streckenbuchs vollständig und zutreffend ist.
