Without prejudice to the provisions of points 1.3. to 1.8, Member States are authorised to provide for a maximum non-extendible journey time of eight hours for the transport of animals destined for slaughter, where the transport is carried out exclusively from a place of departure to a place of destination both situated on their own territory. |
