LfM’s budget is essentially financed by the 2 % of the public service broadcasting licence fee collected in North Rhine-Westphalia in accordance with Section 40 read in conjunction with Section 55 of the State Broadcasting Treaty (Rundfunkstaatsvertrag), Sections 10 and 11 of the State Treaty on the Financing of Broadcasting (Rundfunkfinanzierungs-Staatsvertrag) and 116(1) of the Media Law of North Rhine-Westphalia [34]. |
